Shape magazine’s website posted an article about the 25 most decieving exercises that tone way more than you think. Psycho Gym does a lot of these exercises in our workouts! Here is a few of the exercises that we do at the gym and muscles they work.
Pistol Squats- Challenge balance, activates core and every other muscle in your lower body including glutes, hamstrings and calves.
Turkish Getups- works shoulders, core, hamstrings, quadriceps, triceps
Burpees- Full body exercise that works the muscles in your arms, thighs, hamstrings, chest, and abs.
Push-Ups- Works abs, glutes, shoulders and upper back,
Wall sits- works legs.
Jump Rope- great for cardio
Kettlebell swings-cardio/ strength training in one
Plank- Great for strengthening the core
Supermans- strengthens lower back
Mountain Climbers- Works shoulders and quads and raises heart rate
Pallof Press- core strengthening and stabilizer.
Crab Walks- work triceps, hamstrings, shoulders, core
